“Self worth beats net worth.” - unkown

Self-worth differs from self-esteem, many confuse the two. Self-worth is what you are born with. As one of the creations of the Universe you are worthwhile and have value, which cannot be taken from you. You can’t lose it, but you can lose sight of it. Self-esteem suffers while self-worth is forgotten.

You must love and value yourself if you are to love others. You have to respect yourself and acknowledge your own self-worth. You must take care of yourself so that you can love and help your neighbor.

Does this make you selfish? No. It makes you responsible.

Dear Jane

Q: Dear Jane:

I am struggling with dehydrated frizzy hair that I attempt to straighten with a flat iron…unsuccessfully. *sigh*

Is there a product that I can use daily to enhance my finished result?

Thank You,
Mangled Mane

A: Dear Mangled Mane:

Thank you for emailing your question to Ask Jane!

I certainly can assist you; Natural Hold Spray Gel is your key to hydrated bouncy hair. It’s a water-based, alcohol free styling agent.

Lightly mist hair with Natural Hold Spray Gel prior to heat styling. As you apply heat from your flat iron, the water in the product turns to steam and infuses moisture back into your hair while leaving it soft and springy with a light hold.

Heat protection, moisture infuser, and holding power all in one!

Do You Know the Difference?

“I am the architect of my present, not an artifact of my past.” –Unknown

Sometimes we incorrectly judge situations containing "problems" as bad and then consciously or unconsciously decide to "suffer" through these situations. There is a BIG difference between PAIN and SUFFERING. Pain is a necessary part of life; suffering is a choice…the wrong choice.

Every change has within it some form or version of pain. The wise seeker stays with the pain and does not judge it. When pain arises the highest choice we can make is to see the pain as a necessary part of our journey.

Stay with your pain and see it as a part of life that results in becoming greater - the greater the pain, the greater the pressure, the greater the reward. Do not resist it, stay with it and watch the coal of your past turn into the gold of your brand new present moment.
