Your mental health has a lot to do with the health of your hair. There are unfortunate psychological disorders that many women have including an irresistible urge to pull out one’s hair. This can be caused from stress, depression, and obsessive compulsive behaviors. Jane Carter Solution was founded on the philosophy that “hair is hair,” and that segmenting hair care by ethnicity does not encourage diversity, love, and multicultural coexistence. What you put on and in your body should promote wellness and stabilize mental health.

valentines-day

Happy Valentine’s Week to you! Valentine’s Day is not only made for celebrating your love’s presence in your life or an excuse to eat heart-shaped and sweet; it’s also a mirror that reflects your special treats, helping you fall head over heels for yourself. On your never ending journey of self-love, you will deal with and learn how to move past your fears, remove obstacles that stand in your way, let go of the past, give and receive forgiveness, bring acceptance to your body, step out in faith, and fill your life with love, beauty, faith and gratitude.

Self-love only comes with a willingness to let go of the past and move forward with a renewed sense of hope and self. By telling your reflection in the mirror that yes, you’re willing to change; you’ll create that openness of your heart and mind you need to fall head over heels for yourself. You’ll start to celebrate the strengths and achievements that testify to you being a whole and healthy person, singled or non-single. to create self-worth and happy confidence.

In the end, it all comes down to making a decision. Do you want to love yourself? Do you want to be happy with whom you are or do you want to hold on to a feeling of unworthiness and self-hate? It’s in your hands. You have the power to make that radical change, but you have to choose to do it.

Is Abundance on Your Shopping List?

The Holiday season is in full swing; tis the season! While some are preparing for the festivities, others are trying to find a way to generate extra resources…a bit of abundance is definitely on their shopping list. Maybe you’re reading this and need a bit of extra cash for gift purchasing, buying a plan ticket to visit family and friends or looking to pad your savings nest egg before the end of the year. No matter the reason, abundance tapping is the solution!

abundance

The reason tapping works is that the blocks to abundance are really all in your mind. If you change your beliefs about money, it will be easier for you to let it in. Imagine having more than you need, that your cup runneth over with what you need and more. See it, feel it, believe it. Don’t worry about how, the Universe is infinitely abundant. There’s plenty for you and everyone else!

Abundance is not defined by how much a person has, but by how aware a person is of how much he or she already has. If you can’t see that you are already abundantly blessed, you won’t be able to see when it is multiplied by 10, 100, 1000 or even a million. Opening up to abundance isn’t a pursuit; it’s a state of mind.

Forgiveness for the Holidays

The holidays bring a sense of warmth and festivity, but can also be a chaotic and stressful time. Nothing brings up people’s stuff like holidays…and family time. The holidays can be a particularly challenging time because of the associations and obligations we often face – buying gifts, receiving, making plans, attending work parties, spending time with family, loved ones who have departed. The holidays make us think more deeply and often times react more strongly.

forgive 3

Many of us are caught up in being hurt and trying to regain a sense of self that someone who has hurt us seems to have taken away. If this holiday season you are contemplating forgiving someone who has hurt you but you are afraid that doing so will leave you feeling weak and vulnerable. Consider this interpretation, that forgiveness is an act of strength, empowerment and self- love. It means that you value your peace of mind more than hanging onto a resentment.

If it yourself who you are contemplating forgiving….why not….go ahead; you will be a better friend, father, sister, brother or mother if you are spiritually well!

Holiday Cheer: Exercising Patience

Most people experience a great deal of stress in that period of time between Thanksgiving and the start of the New Year, fondly known as “The Holidays”. Many of us find ourselves becoming irritable, with our patience and tolerance stretched to the limit. The holiday season is just around the corner and with it comes all the joy of dealing with those who just can’t seem to get into the joy of the season.

patience

The Holidays demand a great deal of patience: waiting in long lines at stores to buy that perfect gift, listening to your Great-Uncle story of his “youth” for the umpteenth time, playing yet another family game of Monopoly. Of course we love seeing our family but it’s exhausting and stressful on all – whether a guest or the host. Your mantra to get you through: “It won’t be perfect.”

It really won’t be; not the table center-piece, not the kids’ behavior, not the adults’ behavior, not the food. This time isn’t about perfection, it’s about bonding. The best way to deal with the holiday humbugs without losing your own holiday spirit in the process is to prepare for it.

  • Take a warm bath - warm water calms you by increasing circulation and relaxing muscles.
  • Breathe deeply - hen anxiety strikes, the heart races; breathing deeply will help you relax.
  • Keep your sense of humor – excuse yourself when you feel a tense moment arising.
  • Write in a journal - sometimes summing up the day’s highs and lows will help you laugh at them and keep things in perspective.

Then, when you’re rejuvenated, rejoin the loud boisterous group and enjoy every chaotic Holiday moment!

Initiate Self-Empowerment

You are not a victim of your circumstances. Self-empowerment creates the courage to break free from the chains of limiting belief patterns and societal or religious conditioning that have traditionally kept women suppressed and unable to see their true beauty and power. Empower yourself now!

empowerment

“Today I cast out all that’s become too small for greatness and I embrace all which supports my growth.”

Whether you want to generate abundance, find a better relationship, start a new business, get a better job or simply take charge of your life and change it for the better- you must recognize that no one is going to do this for you, it’s up to you to take the first step.

  • Physical Empowerment – finding balance between diet and exercise to ensure optimum body performance
  • Emotional Empowerment – how to achieve peace of mind and learn to adjust the flow of emotions to enhance our lives
  • Mental Empowerment – feed your mind; avoid feeding your head with bad images, bad words, and bad thoughts
  • Spiritual Empowerment – understand that we are the co-creators of our world; making an effort to improve our lives and the lives of others leads to evolution

Women should acknowledge and celebrate their achievements, overcome the lows, and assert and honor themselves. You no longer need to settle for the way things are…you can open up to the way things can be - if you dare to tap the power within!

Mastering a Healthy Self Image

Different philosophies and wisdom tell us that loving oneself is inappropriate. However, we have to take this in the right context; selfishness is self-love for the purpose of acquiring the advantages without regard to the means and how it will affect others. Genuine self-love is taking care of oneself, putting importance to the nourishment of the whole person bodily and spiritually, in order to be of use to others!

you are beautiful

Monday Affirmation: “I am making peace with my body. I accept its flaws, celebrate its beauty, and work to improve what I want to change.”

Few things about us are more closely linked to our thinking than our self-image; self-image is the personal view we have of ourselves. It is our mental image or self-portrait. Self-image is an internal dictionary that describes the characteristics of the self; it is not permanently fixed, part of our self-image is dynamic and changing. We can learn to develop a healthier and more accurate view of ourselves, thus changing the distortions in the mirror. Self-image change is a process occurring over a lifetime.

A healthy self-image starts with learning to accept and love ourselves, it also means being accepted and loved by others. Mastering a healthy self-image is a practical blueprint for overcoming adversity, achieving unstoppable self-confidence and attaining your goals for personal and professional success!
