“Karma doesn’t negotiate.” What goes around comes around? You reap what you sow? No good deed goes unpunished? Sound familiar….some simply call it “karma”. Karma, simply put, is action. It is not unconscious or involuntary action. It is intentional, conscious, deliberate, willful action. It’s basic concept is — good will be returned with good and less than desirable will be returned with less desirable. Karma is a law in Hinduism which maintains that every act done, no matter how insignificant, will eventually return to the doer with equal impact. If you want to have "positive" results in your life, you need to cause others to have "positive" results. Intend to cause others to have positive results. In the world of karma, your intention to do good is what counts. The actual results are almost irrelevant! You must be conscious. Ask yourself what you want most and then on a daily basis, write the 3 best things you did to help others get what you want and the 3 worst things you did that caused others to not get what you want. Take two minutes at the end of your day. Just observe it, be aware. Don’t make yourself wrong for the bad things. Start today because the more you start to apply this law, the more everyone else benefits! |
