Dear Friends,

Now that we are back in the full swing of the school year and of course the full swing of product making, there are a couple of things we would like to tell you about….NEW PRODUCTS. Hooray. We’re very excited about them. You’ve been asking and Jane’s been concocting. So beginning this month we will introduce a new shampoo and next month our new Curl Defining Cream. Before we share more of the details of the exciting news, here is the free Hair care video tip for this week:

NON SULPHATE SHAMPOO
SUDSING, TINGLING, CLEANSING

Many of you have expressed your concerns about Sodium Laurel Sulphate and Sodium Laureth Sulphate as the cleansing agent in shampoos, and we take your requests and comments very seriously. As a result, we are introducing a Non-Sulphate Shampoo, called hydrating, invigorating, shampoo. It is designed to infuse moisture while gently cleansing your hair and scalp. This SULPHATE FREE shampoo employs humectants that has your hair hold more moisture and a hint of peppermint to wake up your scalp.
The shampoo will be available on the website for starters and we will hopefully be rolling this out to the stores as early as October. Keep checking the site for any updates. You can get free samples with any purchase on the site or over the phone, details below.

This past week, We just recently sponsored events like the Premier of Chris Rock’s “Good Hair” and the Premier of Oprah and Tyler Perry’s movie “Precious”. (See the pictures on our Facebook,

There are events this month where you can ask jane all of your burning questions.

This weekend Oct 10th and 11th in New York City at the Jacob Javits Convention Center we will be participating in Circle of Sisters Booth #546. For you hairstylists and students, You will find us at the following shows:

Sun & Mon Oct 11th & 12th the SHB Myrtle Beach Hair Show at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Sun & Mon Oct 18th & 19th The Premier Hair Show at the Birmingham Convention Center and
Sun & Mon Oct 25th & 26th we will be in Richmond, VA at the convention center at the Black Beauty Expo.
In November, Jane will teaching classes in Detroit on Monday Nov 9th. Call Henry Johnson for details. His number is248-396-8472. The following week Jane will be teaching in Cleveland, Ohio on Monday the 16th and on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio. Call Norm for info regarding the Ohio classes. His number is 419-304-0392.


Please keep checking the website for the new events and product releases. Curl Defining Cream should be introduced next month. Jane is diligently working on a couple of new things for heat styling and protection. And she’s looking at creating vitamins to strengthen and fortify hair as well.
