How Forgiving Are You?

“Hate hurts the hater more than the hated. Step into Love, for your own sake.”

Hate is a huge burden to bear; casting a dark shadow over your own life. It’s the malignancy that festers and grows, stifling your growth and threatening your health. When we embrace hate, a part of us loses the ability to find love and forgiveness….ultimately hurting ourselves.

  • Work towards identifying the behavior that you dislike or disagree with in a person, go deep. Recognize that it’s the behavior and not the person.
  • Resolve the issue or bury the hatchet, if possible.
  • Move towards forgiveness; this doesn’t deny the person’s responsibility for hurting you, minimize or justify the hurt. Forgive without excusing.

Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that allows you to fully give and receive love in life; forgiveness is for YOU, not them!
